About This Project

Fort Houston in Nashville, Tennessee

Vocational workshops for adults

When existing buildings are renovated to inhabit educational spaces, the community becomes stronger. This is true for children grades K-12 as well as adults. Whether traditional or vocational learning, communities as a whole benefit from education.

Fort Houston is a unique educational experience because of the activities that the building accommodates. Over 6,000 square feet of workspace, studios and a woodshop establish a learning environment that is rich with experimentation and tactical learning.

CMArchitects feels that vocational skills can be harnessed creatively to develop innovation. This building is an example of our diverse educational background when designing experience.
